AGC, West Central Ohio Division congratulates Universal Contracting Corporation with its 2015 Build Ohio win in the New Construction under $30M category with the Smale Riverfront Park Vine Street Plaza & Carousel project, located in Cincinnati.  The highlights of the project include:  The Annie W. & Elizabeth M. Anderson Pavilion, which seats over 350 guests in a high end event space; the Carol Ann’s Carousel, consisting of 44 hand-carved animals, each representing significance to Cincinnati’s culture or heritage; and The Pichler Family Fountains – with three water features – 61-head interactive feature, 3 overhead rain-curtains flowing down from glass balconies, and 2 cascades from the Vine Street staircase.  Phil Neumann, President, Universal Contracting Corporation accepted the award, with UCC Representatives also on the podium.

AGC, Dayton would also like to recognize Shook Construction, Finalist in the Industrial – Heavy Category; Baker Concrete, Finalist in the New Construction < $30M Category; and Tuttle Services Inc. & Valley Interior Systems noted as Key Contractor/Subcontractor on various projects presented at the Build Ohio Awards Banquet.

AGC of Ohio announced the Build Ohio 2015 award winners at the annual Build Ohio Celebration on November 6 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. The Build Ohio awards program showcases the outstanding commercial construction projects in the state.
