The Dayton Cement Masons and Plasterers apprenticeship training programs held an Open House on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM.  The event was held during Ohio In-Demand Jobs Week, May 7-11, 2018.

The purpose of the outreach event was to profile the Cement Masons and Plasterers trades, which both are in-demand and provide decent living wages.    Both Apprenticeship Programs displayed hands on activities, including a cement pour.

Approximately 25 attended the Open House held at 2951 Bluefield Avenue, Dayton OH  45414.  Those in attendance included State officials and Dayton Public School representatives.

During the Open House, 3rd Year Apprentice Roger Demaray’s life journey was shared and highlighted.  Additionally, Greg West, CM Training Instructor and Jon Schwartz, 1st Year Apprentice were honored as Veterans.
